Roof Collapses in on Vikings Season

The Minnesota Vikings football team was on the verge of going to the Super Bowl last season, so expectations were high for the 2010 season. It turned out that Brett Favre was unable to repeat the performance. As hope still lingered in midseason, head coach Brad Childress started being scrutinized. A bad trade and continued losses caused him to be fired. Just a couple weeks later, the Metrodome roof collapsed due to heavy snow. It happened less than a day before the Vikings were due to play there. The next three games they played were under unusual circumstances. The contrast for the Super Bowl bound Vikings from last season to this disastrous season can be compared to the actual football stadium roof collapse.
